This study aims to describe efforts to increase learning understanding and increase student learning activities in history subjects in class XI IPA-1 semester two of SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. This research was carried out through classroom action research for 4 weeks in the second semester. This research started from March 2, 2023 to March 23, 2023. The results of this study showed that (1) The sociodrama learning method was able to increase students' understanding of history subjects (2) The use of the sociodrama method was able to increase student learning activities
