Withdrawal of Manuscripts

  1. Authors are not allowed to retract submitted manuscripts because withdrawal is a waste of valuable resources, so editors and referees spend a lot of time processing submitted manuscripts and works invested by publishers.
  2. Suppose the author still asks for the withdrawal of the manuscript while the manuscript is still in the peer-review process. In that case, the author will be subject to sanctions according to the agreement to pay an amount of IDR 500,000 per manuscript as a withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if it is accepted.
  3. Withdrawal of the manuscript after the manuscript is accepted for publication; the author will be punished by paying an amount of IDR 1,000,000 per manuscript. The withdrawal of manuscripts is only allowed after the withdrawal penalty has been paid in full to the publisher. Suppose the author does not agree to pay the fine. In that case, the author and his affiliates will be blocklisted for publication in this journal. The previously published articles will be deleted from our online system.
